Soooo, we might be massively fan-girling a bit over here! You know that feeling you get when your favourite celebrity RT’s or Mentions you?
Well, that pretty much happened to us at the weekend. Except we didn’t get RT’d or Mentioned, we got featured on one of our all time favourite websites, Buzzfeed! Say WHAAAAT?!
We actually got featured on one of their notoriously awesome lists, this one called ‘23 Truly Unbelievable Dishes Found Only in NOLA‘.

Dat Dog’s on People!
Hope ya’ll are doin’ okay?
We’ve been having a very busy week! Many of you may have heard that the beautiful and incredibly talented Academy Award winning actress Reese Witherspoon stopped by Dat Dog Magazine last week with her two adorable nieces.
It certainly put a smile on our faces and appears it did for them too!
Whilst that was very exciting, it is equally exciting that we’ve been featured on People website! People got wind of Reese’s trip and asked if we could provide them with one of our recipes to feature on their site! So, if there’s ever a day where you just don’t feel up to paying us a visit, you can now make your very own Dat Dog at home! Check it out!

Ha! Well, enough of the dodgy poems but it’s not all irrelevant. This week’s special is our Greater Gator dog! This beast of a dog is our hugely popular gator sausage, topped with andouille sauce, onions, tomatoes, cheese, guacamole and yellow mustard. Let me get a ‘heelllll yeah!’
And if that wasn’t enough of a flavour explosion then team that with our cocktail special of the week, our Classic Caipirinha. This incredibly simple and incredibly boozy little number will rock your world. Just remember to drink responsibly guys!

The World Cup!
It’s that time again, the time when the world comes together in a frenzy of soccer madness!
The biggest sporting event on the planet, The World Cup, is back and it’s hitting the screens at all three Dat Dog locations!

Ooooh that’s right…we’ve got a massive projector screen up at our Freret St location for your viewing pleasure!!

Ooooooh we’ve got some kick ass specials for you in store this week!
As usual, we feature a weekly special dog and cocktail. This week it’s the return of the Duck special and the Snap ‘n’ Stormy.
Our duck special is one of our juicy duck sausages (obvs), smothered with BBQ sauce, mustard, blackberry preserves and bacon. If you’ve not tried it yet, get yourself down this week and get your hands on one, it’s amazing.
Our cocktail of the week is the Snap ‘n’ Stormy, a simple Dat Dog twist on the classic Dark ‘n’ Stormy.

Gluten free dogs!!
Hey Dat Dog fans!
Recently, we’ve had more and more of you guys asking about which of our dogs are gluten free. Whilst our buns aren’t gluten free you’ll be pleased to hear that we do still have some great options for you!
- Traditional beef dog;
- Traditional pork dog;
- Slovenian sausage;
- Hot bratwurst (spicy)
If you ask to have these served as a naked dog (no bun) and be sure to check with your server which toppings are gluten free too!
