If you’ve already been in to see us this weekend you’ll already know we’re getting right into the spirit of Oktoberfest! For those of you that’ve not been down yet, head by this afternoon and check out some of our specials for this weekend!
This little baby is one Oktoberfest special to not say no to: grilled bratwurst on a pretzel bun with onions, sauerkraut, and yellow mustard. “Pretzel bun!?!?!” you say? Hell yeah! And let me tell you now, it’s pretty damn good!

Magazine Movie Night!
It’s that time again people! Time to come and get your fill of free movies at Dat Dog Magazine St!
At tonight’s screening we will be showing all time classic On The Beach which features Gregory Peck, the beautiful Ava Gardner, Fred Astaire and Anthony Perkins.
Join us from 19.30 when the upstairs room doors open… which gives you just enough time to go and grab your choice of dog. The movie will start at 20.00…so don’t be late!

‘The Dat Dog Dog Show‘, wow that’s a bit of a mouthful!!
So, many of you Dat Dog regulars will know that we love our four-legged friends as much as we love all of you! From our milk bone dispensers to our Doggie Wall of Fame, we love can’t get enough o’ the little critters!
To celebrate your perfect pooches, we will be holding The Dat Dog Dog Show!! On Saturday October 12th from 6pm at our Magazine St location, bring your furry friends down to take part in the numerous rounds including; cutest dog, best trick, ugliest dog and dog/owner look-a-like! There will be plenty of prizes on the day!

So who made it to our last screening of Charade over on Magazine St last Friday? Well, if you were lucky enough to attend or were too afraid to leave the house on Friday 13th, you’re in luck!…
Tonight we will be screening our second film at our Magazine Street location. The doors upstairs open at 7.30pm with the main feature starting at 8.00pm. What’s this week’s film you ask? Why it’s the John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara classic McLintock!!
Kick back and relax with this 1963 comedy Western, a big juicy dog and perhaps one of our awesome shakes! You know the deal people, there’s no charge to come enjoy a film at Dat Dog so make sure you tell all your friends!

Michelle’s Cajun Supreme
Now it’s been a while since we’ve posted one of our specials up here but we’ve been saving up for somethin’ special! And boy oh boy do we have someone we’d like you to meet…
Introducing Michelle’s Cajun Supreme. She might not win any prizes for being the prettiest dog around but MAN is she packing some weight in the flavour department. This weekly special is one of our famous gator sausages grilled to perfection and topped with our very own housemade andouille, shredded cheddar cheese, house crawfish étouffée, grilled onions, diced tomatoes and topped with creole mustard.
